What inspired you to be a PT? I would've loved to have had a mentor when I went through my own health issues and now I've become a coach to other people, to help them improve their fitness levels, to achieve their health and wellbeing goals.
Experience: I am an enthusiastic and creative personal trainer and group fitness instructor with more than 4 years experience working with individuals, as well as small and large groups of participants with different fitness levels and ages.

What inspired you to be a PT? We are built to move, so I want to help more people do it well, and do it more often.
Experience: I started in 2003, so I bring 15 years’ experience in teaching, coaching and training to every session.

What inspired you to be a PT? I love being part of other people’s fitness journey, and seeing them grow and become a better version of themselves.
Experience: I became a PT four years ago, after graduating from university; and to-date, I continue learning from various coaches about different ways to train. I’m currently studying Clinical Exercise Physiology as such becoming more specialised in musculoskeletal conditions.

What inspired you to be a PT? I love that exercise has so many physical and mental benefits and to be in a role to deliver physical activity that can contribute to people's individual goals or needs and that can enhance or improve someone's life.
Experience: I have over nine years' experience as a personal trainer and fitness instructor, assisting people of all ages, conditions and goals. At Aqualink I trained the female winner of the 2016 and male winner of the 2017 9 Week Challenge.

What inspired you to be a PT? My own fitness journey as a young child always playing sports and being active.
Experience: Growing up in Sale, I played a lot of sport and was very active. After completing the personal training certification, I then became Gym Manager at Sale Health and Fitness. After 4 years I moved to Melbourne to further my education and knowledge.

What inspired you to be a PT? I love training, and what I have achieved through my own training. I can relate from personal experience to the ups and downs of setting and achieving goals through creating good habits.

What inspired you to be a PT? I was inspired by exercise therapy I underwent to manage Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, which sparked my passion to help others improve their quality of life through exercise.
Experience: Clinical exercise therapy in - fall prevention, chronic pain and fatigue management, diabetes prevention and management, cardiac rehabilitation and joint replacement programs.

Experience: Running own fitness business for 5 years training mums and kids. Working also with pregnant clients through their pregnancy and post natal training. Basketball coach for 3 years. I also teach HIIT, Tababta and Boxing Fitness classes at Aqualink.

What inspired you to be a PT? During University, I volunteered in different health and sport context settings, working at a gym was by far my favourite. I love coaching, engaging with people so it made sense to be a personal trainer.
Experience: Completed placement at a gym, volunteered as a PE teacher and interned as a strength and conditioning coach. I also teach HIIT Group Fitness classes.
Why train with you? My approach from day 1 is to understand you and what you want to achieve out of your training. I breakdown factors that have impacted your progress so far and will get you on the most suitable approach so you can see results in a timely manner.

What inspired you to be a PT? I enjoy sharing my knowledge and passion for fitness with other to help them achieve their own individual goals.
Experience: Having lost 20kgs myself I realise that fitness is a real life changing event. I have worked for the past year to help many clients from beginners to advance to achieve their goals, and love nothing more than seeing the smile on their face when they have reached their goal.

What inspired you to be a PT? Being part of a research study at University as a participant opened my eyes to the world of personal training, and helping people push beyond what they thought was possible.
Experience: 15 years personal training experience training everyone from 8 to 92. Greatest achievements with clients have been 55kg weight loss with a client who went on to compete in fun runs. Helping an 80 year old with knee rehab to get back on his feet to continue with his daily activity and reducing his golf handicap. I have been a manager for the past 10 years which has included training new personal trainers on how to be the best that they can be.
Why train with you? I don't believe in fancy workout (though I know all the fancy exercises), I believe in doing what works, do it well, do it right and do it with purpose. As a full-time PT my nickname was the "smiling assassin" as I believe in having fun while working out hard.
Something we don't know about you: Awarded Queen's Scount Award (highest award in youth Scouts), used to play trumpet and achieved a highest Year 12 score in Japanese than English.

What inspired you to be a PT? I transformed my own physique and became very passionate about health and fitness, I wanted to help others achieve this.
Experience: I have a background in state level basketball, bodybuilding and powerlifting. 5 years experience as a personal trainer.

What inspired you to be a PT? Joining the local gym after having children, I was fortunate to meet a wonderful trainer who inspired me through my journey to lose weight and regain my fitness.
Experience: I've been a trainer since 2007 and have trained the young and not so young. I have a vast knowledge of training methods and a broad understanding of common injuries and can assist clients with their continued rehabilitation process.

Something we don't know about you: I won the gumboot throw contest at kindergarten, so I guess you could say I've been athletic my whole life. It ranks in my top three proudest moments.

What inspired you to be a PT? Not having someone to guide me through my fitness journey and sporting injuries when I was younger helped develop my passion for the fitness industry.

What inspired you to be a PT? I'd been going to the gym for a couple of months, and at the time, I was teaching kids how to swim and loved my job. One night I thought to myself, why don't I combine the two - teaching and fitness - so I enrolled the next day into a personal training course.
Experience: I've been a PT since 2015, while also being a client to many training over the years. In 2019 I competed at the ICN All Female Classic as a bikini competitor. My journey to the stage taught me a lot about nutrition, body composition, and my unconditional love for peanut butter.

What inspired you to be a PT? My love for the gym, fitness and sports are the main reasons as to why I decided to pursue personal training. Furthermore, I enjoy eating well, being healthy and I love the feeling of getting a good workout done for the day.
Experience: Work placement completed with experienced instructors has taught me how to deal with and tailor to individuals specific needs well.
