Cryptosporidium FAQ

April 12 - 2.20 pm update: The Aqualink Nunawading Pool is now open.

Based on confirmed cases of Cryptosporidium (crypto), we had to temporarily close the Pool, Spa, Sauna and Steam room from 3 pm 11 April while we completed a hyperchlorination process and deep clean.

We are pleased to inform you that the Aqualink Nunawading pool has officially reopened as of 2 pm today. Our team has worked diligently through the night in multiple shifts to treat the pool and associated wet areas (Spa, Sauna, Steam room, Leisure pool) for Cryptosporidium, ensuring the highest standards of safety and cleanliness are maintained for our community's benefit. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the team for their tremendous effort, working through the night and into today to both communicate and resolve the issue.
