Over the past year we’ve invested in the quality and experience of our services. We have enhanced our equipment, expanded program offerings, and improved our facilities to better support your health and wellbeing.

In 2025/2026 we look forward to continuing these investments, including:

• The introduction of Reformer Pilates (included in a new premium membership option), and;
• Gym equipment upgrades.

Each financial year, Whitehorse City Council reviews its fees and charges as part of the annual budget process. During this process, we carefully compare Aqualink’s fees with those of comparable facilities to ensure we remain fair, competitive and maintain great value for our members.  

Following this year’s review, there will be an adjustment to your membership fee from 3 July 2025. You have been sent an email with details. 

The change reflects rising operational costs - such as staffing, utilities and a range of facility upgrades – alongside our commitment to offering value for money and remaining aligned with industry standards. We remain dedicated to providing a safe, high-quality environment that supports your health and fitness goals.

Improvements made during 2024/2025

Aqualink Nunawading

• New 50m pool lane ropes  
• A new, high-efficiency pool vacuum for improved pool cleanliness
• Pool plant upgrades including a new UV unit for the spa
• New flooring in Studio 2

Aqualink Box Hill

• New lane ropes
• Additional aquatic wheelchairs have been provided to increase accessibility and availability for patrons in need.
• Pool plant upgrades including new dosing pumps and spa mechanical switchboard
• Cycle room equipment upgrade to improve sound quality
• New couches and chairs in the cafe  

Both Centres

• Replacement of staff two-way radios for improved communications and emergency response
• New group fitness and gym equipment including barbells, attachments and accessories, aqua stereo systems and resistance training equipment
• 41 additional group fitness classes each week
• Introduction of Les Mills Shapes, Les Mills Sprint, Functional Strength, AquaZumba, Zumba Step and GymStick
• Replacement of TVs in the gyms and cafes
